
The fountain’s place and the cathedral’s forecourt are typical meeting place for students (Parisians and foreigners) and teenagers who then go to restaurants and bars in adjacent streets such as Rue de la Huchette (Latin Corner’ bar which is famous for the waitress’ oath, or at Georges Bar) and Rue de la Harpe (La Taverne de Cluny or Easyeverything Saint Michel). It’s up to you: Lucha Libre, Corcoran’s Irish Pub or Le Salsero (Latino ambiance).
At the end of Saint Michel Boulevard up to Monge place, there are plenty of bars full of students: Nos Bars Pas Chers, L’Urgence Bar, Le Bistrot des Artistes. If you’d rather have a calm and romantic ambiance, go to La Contrescarpe, Le Moufetard or Le Nemrod.
As soon as the weather is fine, every students, Parisians and strangers come to enjoy it on the banks close to Saint Michel or at the Pont des Arts, which is always crowded.This is a young, festive and trendy district full of bars and restaurants (on the Saint Germain Boulevard). You might go to the Bar 3, the Zero de Conduite or to the Highlander, have a walk around Odeon, Rue des Canettes, Rue du Four or Rue Guisarde you will find many bars and trendy pubs. If you’d rather dink wine go to Chez Georges, beer at Hideout, or a romantic evening, go to La Balle au Bond.
Rue Princesse is very well known due to the number of students’ bars where you may meet friends by chance: Le Malabar Princess, The Frog & Princess or the Little Temple Bar.
Lots of bustling bars and restaurants are located near of place du Chatelêt, Forum des Halles and Hôtel de ville and opened day and night. No addresses needed, you’ll find it while you are taking a walk in the district: La Jungle, Le Comptoir, Le N’Importe Quoi or Le Point Zéro for quirky ambiances and at Hall’s Beer Tavern, Hideout, Café Oz or O’Sullivan Rebels for typical pubs.
Between Chatelet and Republique, in the center of Paris, le Marais gathers two different ambiances (festive and classical). It is well known for being the gay district (such as Le 3W [Woman With Woman]). Many wild type bars (pub Café Klein Holland), original (Oriental at Aux 3 Escales, Les Arches du Marais [cocktail bar] or La Perla) but also classical and calm bars are located there (such as Chez Marianne, Le Lizard Lounge or Les Souffleurs).Young and cheap district, there are many bars, cafés and restaurants but also some clubs. By going for a walk close to Rue Oberkampf (Bar Les Pirates, Chez Justine) you’ll find lots of atypical and trendy bars (l’International).
Student district located in the 13th, it is very crowded with students which flock to bars after university or exams from 6/7pm. Very cheap, this attractive district enjoys a festive and cosmopolite ambiance (close to Cité Universitaire and other Universities): La Taverne de la Butte, Le Village de la Butte, Le Sputnik or Le Merle Moqueur.

District full of cinemas, pub, cafés and restaurants, some hidden in small streets or between two shops, there are many places to go to on the evening or to go out: Le Club auto Passion, Le Cubana Café, La Cave La Bourgogne, L’Atelier, La Villa Corse, Le Charlie Birdy, Crocodile Vert or Le Tournesol.
