The 1st arrondissement contains some of the most important sights for visitors with a strategic location in the center of Paris. This district is not-to-be-missed: Louvre museum, Jardin des tuileries, the Comedie Française, the Culture Ministry, State Council and the Jardins du Palais-Royal. It remains essentially a place where history and culture meet head on along the banks of the Seine: sculptures merge with lawns, pools and fountains. This “trendy” place where wealthy tourists, models, fashion designers and bankers are blending to meet at the Hotel Costes terrace, at the Park Hyatt bar rue de la Paix or at the Colette Shop, rue Saint Honoré or at the place du marché Saint Honoré to brunch on Sunday.
