You will walk in one of the oldest parts of Paris. The great food market of Les Halles has been transformed in the 70’s into the forum des Halles dedicated to Shopping and entertainment with a large underground full of shops, cafés and cinemas. The Jardin des Halles is dominated by the beautiful Eglise Saint Eustache. It is the largest Parisian church after Notre Dame. In the 19th century, the area was the playground of brigands and prostitutes. It is now a pedestrian and lively area. Walk down the rue du jour, rue Etienne Marcel and rue Montmartre. A little further is the Centre Georges Pompidou and Place du Chatelet.
