Former village of the fringe of Paris, Ménilmontant, in the 2nd district the most inhabited (in number) of Paris, is one of the most popular district of the capital: located in the East, from porte des Lilas to Porte de Montreuil. Well-known for his cemetery, le Père Lachaise, and the Belleville’s Park, this district is less touristic than the rest of the capital but turns out to be very bustling and animated in the evening.
To go out, go to Maroquinerie, Mer à Boire, Lou Pascalou or Entrepot’s.
