Stanislas Coûteaux, 33
Founder, Book a Flat

Despite his history degree and a 10-year career as a relational marketing consultant, Stanislas never lost sight of his calling for real estate. In 2004, he launched into renovating, decorating, and renting out furnished apartments to foreigners stopping over in Paris. It was a sound choice; the market was ripe. He started his own website, the first book-a-flat.com, and was noticed by Elle International. With demand at a high, Stanislas rapidly increased the number of properties he was managing. Owners liked the concept and placed their properties in his hands.

Géraldine de Fouquières, 30
Cofounder, Book a Flat

Driven by a passion for contemporary art and photography on the one hand, but pragmatic on the other, Géraldine sought to combine a successful career with a love for beauty in spaces. This goes some way to explain the success she met with when she specialised in the sale of high-end real estate in Paris, following her chartered accountant's degree. She then met Stanislas, and was seduced by the concept of picking out contemporary furnished apartments. Joining Book a Flat, Géraldine took on the development of the management department, which looks after property owners -often foreigners looking for a turn-key service- from start to finish, while she continues selling high-end properties in the centre of Paris.
